I'll say it and if people are pissed off... so be it.
I understand completely what the terrorists were trying to accomplish on 9-11, it was a dark day in American and World history but by our responsive actions we look even more like bully's and war mongers ourselves. Everything we've done over in Afghanastan is SHIT! People who think were doing the world a great service are sheep, we fire missiles and drop bombs on people who can't possibly shoot back? I see people on a daily basis sigh and say "boy I hope our boys over there on 'such and such' ship come back O.K.?" sure, I do too, but what are you worried about? They can't possibly be hurt unless during an officers party someone gets drunk and falls overboard!
The Taliban are not good guys and they have a fucked up belief structure, but think back people only fifteen years ago we were giving arms to them and giving them aid to fight the Russkies and they were considered very much are friends.
Also they are not terrorists, they harbored and gave sanctuary to Bin Laden and his followers which makes them our enemy (but not terrorists) and now there are hundreds of Taliban soldeirs in Cuba right now who are being held on "criminal charges"? And being denied the right to be considered POWs but on the flip side of the coin if an American soldier is captured they will be considered a prisoner of war? Thats called hypocrisy my friends.
This whole "war on terrorism" is a sham and a ruse to make the common American feel all warm and fuzzy and above all safe... which we are most definetly not!
What we needed to do was go into Afghan with total military support and completely bring those viscous bastards to their collective knee's with the blinding fury of American might... but what did we do, we sat around on the borders with our thumbs in our ass's and ran intelligence and sent in small groups of special forces in order to locate Bin Laden, and what became of that brilliant plan... nothing!!!!!!!!!!!
#1 We now have to give millions of dollors in aid and support to the Afghan people and help them build up there new government (costing us lots and lots of money!)
#2 We now have hundreds of Taliban soldiers we have to give shelter and food to (costing the American tax payer even more money!!!)
#3 We now have an even more fucked up and not at all safer Airline situation
#4 We have President (I need my Daddy) Bush spending more and more and more money on the military budget, which WE DO NOT NEED!
#5 We look like cowards who were afraid to fight the Taliban face to face! We saw that we might get a nosebleed so we hesitated and, as stated above we fired missiles hundreds of miles away and dropped bombs on people who proudly defended there country and took the flak! Do you think the average Taliban soldier gives two shits about Bin Laden or Al-Quaha (SP?) No! They were defending there country like their superiours told them to. Someday when we have to go toe to toe with a much more powerful foe they'll look back on what happened and say "the Americans are cowards and they'll just run intelligence and try and bomb us."
#6 and the biggest fuck up so far NO BIN LADEN!!!??!!!?!?!?!??!?
The guy is sitting on a tropical island somewhere sipping drinks while our retarded man-child of a president runs around trying to look like a big boy on TV and do important President stuff to impress John and Jane Q public and we've opened our mouths and swallowed the load because it's the patriotic thing to do.  

Now after seeing this rant your going to think I'm a Goddamn communist un-patriotic asshole and thats fine but I love this country as much as anyone and I salute the flag with honor, but I got no time to waste thinking our current high ranking officials give one rats ass about you or me and most if not all of their interests are all about $$$ If this country were faced with a major war I would be happy to pick up a rifle and march into war with my fellow countryman and I would glady throw myself in front of a bullett to save anyone of them, but I won't be forced to sit back and eat the shit by the spoonfull.

That's my two cents on the current "Infinite Justice" we got going on across the world... of course I'm very drunk right now and in the morning I probably won't even remember typing any of this.  ;D
