New Line Cinema has signed Crispin Glover (River's Edge, Back to the Future 1,2,3) to star in their remake of the 1971 cult classic 'Willard. It's about a man who's only friends are rats and he uses them to exact revenge on bully's who have killed and hurt his "friends". James Wong and Glen Morgan will write and produce with Morgan also directing. Production begins later this month.

I really enjoyed Willard and Ben back in the day so I'm not sure how I feel about a remake. Is Crispin Glover the guy that played Michael J. Fox's father in the Back to the Future Series? He's definitely nerdy enough to play Willard, but I would have thought he would be too old now.

Yeah that's the guy, strangly enough he still looks sorta the same but who knows the directers could be trying to make the character older. ~~Will~~
