Dimension see's it's own 'Shadow!

According to the Hollywood reporter Dimension films has aquired the film rights to the comic series Shadow Man. The story envolves a dead man, Mike LaRoi, who turns to voodoo to avenge the death of his family.
His powers are given to him by the Shadow Mask enabling him to walk between the land of the living and the land of the dead.

That comic series is dead isn't it?  Reminded me too much of Dead Man, The Spectre and The Crow.  I'll check out the movie though.  Thanks.

As far as I know the comic series is in fact no longer running and I can't say I was a big fan, I read a couple of issues but wasn't impressed. It might make a decent film though.
