So T2 is 10 yrs old,NOTLD is 30 yrs old and The Thing is 20 yrs old and I could go on and on,Who gives a shit.Your actually comparing it to the crap that comes out nowadays and your saying its aged badly.Like I said before try to look at movies for what they are but not how they've aged or there cliches. When it first came out were you thinking of how good it would be in 10 yrs?

I like films from any age. A good film never loses it's qualities. NOTLD was good 30 years ago and is still good today. The Thing is 20 years old and I still haven't seen better effects. Films like Witchfinder General and the original Haunting are among the most frightening ever made and are still great today. My point was that I don't like T2 on account of the appallingly stereotyped characters and the shitty dialogue, asta la vista infuckingdeed.

If you watch and listen very closely You'll find out that its one of the smartest movies ever. That asta lavista baby came from the kid teaching him things because if you remember from the deleted scenes they switched the switch on his chip to learning new things so the Terminator was just using that saying in a situation he thought was right to use.

I didn't like T2 either. I'm not a James Cameron fan and I HATE Eddie Furlong.

Yes Devil I had worked that out for myself, it's not a complicated aspect of the film. Anyway, it's not Arnie I have the problem with, it's Furlong's character and Sarah Conner that I can't stand. The archetypal cool kid and tough chick.

I thought this was a discussion forum. There's no need to get offensive as you of all people should know.

Well I liked T2 and Sarah Conner, even if she is a stereotypical tough chick like Ripley (there's not enough of them in action/horror movies imo), but I agree with Furlong, I do not like that annoying kid at all. I loved American History X too which he had a big part in, but not HIM.

I find that some things just need to be said, regardless of whether or not they make sense. As for pie, my mam makes a top notch plate corned beef pie
