I'm surprised anyone still gives a shit about Friday 13th/Elm St films considering neither franchise has come up with anything worth watching since the 80s.

Fair enough. Of course I could argue the same case for Hellraiser, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Halloween. Hell, even Motorhead and their music. Not that it stops me enjoying catching Motorhead still playing live now and again. Much like watching these various sequels.

well neither will win in the movie, or at least there will be no one man/monster/demon/beast whatever standing at the end.
anywhoo, jason will most likely win seeing that he is all action and fred would rather bore us with jokes. now if were fred circa 1980, it might be a different story.
i have to agree with theboycopland to some extent, the only people looking foward to this are horror fans and i think most of them don't give a shit. i just don't see freddy vs jason being a hit, reviving either series, or even being a descent movie in the first place. we'll have to wait and see...
