i'm with neil on this one. if one kills the other there won't be any more sequels! well, wait a minute jason's been "dead" like twice and freddy was supposedly serving an eternal sentence in the bowels of hell. anything is possible...
...with the exception of THIS being a good movie, of course.

I kind of suspect that Fred would fare better, what with his longer association with New Line Cinema. But I would also be very surprised if New Line had the bottle to actually have a decisive winner in a battle like this. It would be nice if the dvd could be a branching version with two definitve endings. I'd chose the version where I get to see Krueger macheted into a hundred pieces every time! I've mentioned this before elsewhere, but it seems as if the horror genre might be at risk of becoming just one big WWF confrontation. Just imagine the lesser battles that we might also be subjected to. Pumpkinhead VS Madman Marz for example.

If they're smart (and I'm not counting on that) they'll have Jason win because he's gathered more box-office revenue in recent years than Freddy. Other than that, I have no idea.

I think Jason would win because he is much much more bigger in this movie then all others including Jason X which i thought was a crappy movie And I think jason is a skilled killer while freddy is a killer who jokes on most of his kills But any way I hope the movie will be good cause ima see it the first day....  |

On the side of my research of the film which will soon make its' debut. Insiders are saying that this may turn into an all out war, leading to a tie. I feel that Jason will win, because he is nasty with his hands as well as his weilding knife. jason's death curse is would be too much for Freddy's nightmarish dependancy.

There is no winner and there will be a sequel.
