Anyone read t.v. guide? Great Q & A in it on the next saga directly from the mouth of Lucas. Although I hate the title (way too campy sounding to me) it is going to be a darker movie (like Empire Strikes Back was of the first 3). Good news is that JarJar's role is limited. It's 10 years after Phantom Menace and Christopher Lee plays a Count! Some scenes for Ep. 3 have already been shot and is scheduled for release 5/25/05, the 28th anniversary of Star Wars. Lucas has no plans to do another trilogy. Oh and this should just DELIGHT <sarcastic/but teasing tone> someone here, we will see the rise of Boba Fett as the pre-teen companion to a bounty hunter named Jango Fett.

Boba Fett as a kid?? sounds shite.
I've seen the trailer for this and I think it looks shit. It suggests that Anakin Skywalker is turning to the dark side at about age 18. I always thought that the original films suggested he became a great good Jedi first. Clearly he hasn't had time to be that yet. I'll still go and see it but I'm not holding out much hope, especially after the abortion that was EP 1.

I agree, they did suggest he turned when he was more mature than 18. I'm hoping they don't use the classic "bad Eve" seducing thing with Padme to be the trigger though. Women can't take much more of that crap  I really am more interested in the Fett story at this point. |
