As a scifi fan I should be offended seeing Smurfs and G.I. Joe in this forum, but I forgive ya CM The only two from this list I watched as a child was He-Man & She-Ra and Thundercats. So I voted for He-Man for obvious reason ;D Probably my favorite cartoons back then were Speed Racer (I had a crush on Racer X), Kimba the White Lion (japanimation) and Scooby Doo (I REFUSE to see the farce w/Freddie Prinze Jr. they made).

Oh' come on Max I love the Smurfs! ;D I went with G.I.Joe because it was my all time fave when I was a kid with Transformers coming in second. Wasn't Scooby Doo a late 70's toon? If not I apoligize and yes it should have been added. Which one one of you people voted for the Go-Bots? I thought I was the only person in the world who even remembered them. 8)

I bet you loved the Care Bears too Scooby probably was a 70's toon and actually the other two I loved were too. I didn't really get into 80's toons as much I guess since I was a young teen then. I was a kid in the 70's more. And I've never heard of Go-Bots or Jem & the Holograms, but I did like Josie way back then. The only sci fi toon I really got into at one time was Star Blazers but I don't remember if it was a 70's or 80's toon.

Do you remember this one, just hit me today but I'm not sure if it was 70's or 80's and I liked him more than He-Man - Thundar the Barbarian.

Yeah I remember it from when I was a kid, he had a sidekick who was sort of a deformed looking Chewbacca creature and they were fighting baddies in a post apocolyptic future?

Anyone here admit to ever playing it? I did a few times, I was a cleric. Didn't really hook me like some people. Remember that Tom Hanks movie about it? Was is called Mazes & Monsters or Dungeons & Dragons?

It was called Mazes and Monsters. I played it in high school once, some kids in the library made me into an elf/theif... I didn't last long. ;D
*The Simpsons* *Homer- "We played D&D for three hours... and then I was slain by an Elf."
*Bart- "Listen to yourself man, your hanging with nerds!"
*Homer holds a knife to Barts throat* "You take that back!!!"
