I got word the other day that Paul Anderson is going to write and direct the film version.

thats what i heard too. alien vs predator has been talked about forever dude. i remember hearing talk about it when i was in middle school.
anderson did a good job with resident evil, so i think alien vs. predator will at be entertaining and stylish for sure.

Yeah Paul Anderson has been officially signed to helm the project and it is currently in pre-production. I like Anderson's style and if this film is going to work it has a good chance with him helming the project. As long as they don't use too much cgi I'll be happy.
