I just saw one of the most hilarious horror movies since Evil dead. It was shot in Pittsburgh (Home of Zombies and tom Savini!) I nearly peed my pants laughing.
It's called Playhouse and is very loosely based on a real haunted Playhouse in Pittsburgh,PA. They have this whole slapstick/ random simpsons style humor going on.It largely pokes fun at the Pittsburgh police who stumble through the investigation of a series of Hauntings/ brutal slayings.The cast was amazingly entertaining especially when given the ultra low budget genre. Excellent performances. I even caught myself jumping at a few parts. The effects were really creepy and gory! It was a perfect blend of Horror/Comedy that we rarely see these days. I checked it out and they have all these cool pics from the film. If you guys love horror check it out and see for yourselves. It's way worth the lunch money you'll spend.
