A young man studying a research project for his Ph.D. is bitten by a woman he finds alone in an abandoned farm in the wilderness. He soon finds himself savagely slaughtering people in order to satisfy his newfound desire for human flesh. As these horrors unfold, he recalls his life and happier times with his girlfriend and leaves an detailed diary of his activities and feelings.
The first entry in the Fangoria horror line and it's definetly a winner, a British shock saga sure to win over hardcore fans with it's creepy approach. Reminiscent of Romero's 1978 Martin in it's depiction of a young man trying to make sense of a cursed lifestyle, I,Zombie is chilling, gory stuff and essential for gore freaks who flock to rent underground bloodletting films directed by the likes of Fulci and Argento.
Cast: Giles Aspen, Ellen Softly, Dean Sipling, Elaine Griffith Directed: Andrew Parkinson Rated: NR Running Time: 89 Color / 1998

Great film.
An original twist on the genre and definately one to be seen by any horror fan. Problem is these days that such flicks are more difficult to find, or at least remain unknown.
I believe I recommended this film to the Pizmeister some months ago as I recall.
I rate it 4 out of 5
