After talking about Shatner's chubby ass and my misadventures with him I thought I'd bring up the topic... what famous people have you met before? It doesn't necassarily mean you needed to hang with them for hours but maybe just a "Hi" and a handshake or just gotten their autograph, you get my drift. ~~Will~~

Pretty boring for me. Other than seeing Stephen King in a passing by sitch, I've only actually met 2 "celebrities". One I mentioned before, Larry Lindville (Frank) from M.A.S.H. a few years before he died... got his autograph, very nice guy it seemed like. Also went to a (start the laughter now : combination horror/Star Trek convention once and stood in line to get an autograph from the late Mark Lenard (Sarek, Spock's father).

They use to film the show Sliders like a block from where I live and I got to meet Jerry O'Connell and I got his autograph,We talked about Stand By Me.Also,I saw Arnold doing a scene at the school right next to our house,It was for the movie The 6th Day.I did'nt get to actually meet him face to face though because they were only letting the kids get his autograph,If anybody ever told you that he's not as big as everybody says,Thats fucken bull shit. He's like 6'3 or 6'4 and about 210 or 220.I met Richard Dean Anderson when he was filming Macgyver in the same place they were filming Sliders.

I've never, ever met a celebrity, you bragging bastards! The closest I've come was seeing John Bov Jovi, briefly, at a local McDonald's. I didn't approach him, and my man refused to follow him (in the car) cuz he thought we'd get in trouble. Bon Jovi's mom lives in the same town I do, and he owns a house in ritzy town not too far from me.

I've actually meet and greet tons of athletes but the one's I mentioned are either great in my eye's or the biggest names I could think of. Max- LoL! Actually meeting lots of those people wasn't all that hard just time consuming, the guy I co-own the shop with is a HUGE Kiss fan and whenever they were in town I would help him get autographs by going to the hotel where they stayed and wait till they came out, sometimes succesful othertimes not but you meet other celebs on accident, on one occasion a door attendant told us that Chevy Chase was at the hotal for a Golf turney (or something) and that he was exiting out another side of the hotel so I went around the corner and there he was signing a couple of pics for people, I didn't know he was going to be there or I would have brought something cool like a copy of Fletch or something for him to sign but I shoock hands with him and told him I was a big fan, he signed a piece of paper for me (better then nothing ) On another and similair situation I met Cuba Gooding at the same hotel while waiting for another celeb. Sometimes you have to wait until an actor is filming a movie in your town before going to meet them, Tommy Lee Jones was here recently filming a movie (called The Hunted I beleive?) and I got his auto. Same thing with Arnold, I saw him when I was a little kid when he was filming Kindergarden Cop in Astoria, Ore. Heather Donahue and celebs like Todd McFarlane are easy, comic book conventions, and of course Star Trek conventions are great places to meet and get auto's of the Star Trek stars and sometimes special sci-fi cons will have big names, I traveled up to Seattle one year to attend a sci-fi con that had the cast of MST3k I was a VERY happy guy that day. ;D I've never met Mel Gibson but that would be pretty cool. ~~Will~~
