I did Wado Ryu Karate for a few years. Nothing like 15 years but I got as far as the 2nd brown belt out of 3, before the 1st black.

I wonder, does every martial arts student believe that their teacher is the hardest man in the world? I know I did and still can't imagine anyone tougher but everyone can't be right.

The guy who taught me used to be pretty tough, but he's developing back problems and can't do as much as he'd like to anymore. I trained under another guy for about 2 years who is one of the scariest mother fuckers I've ever met. He's a 5th degree in Tae Kwon Do, a 3rd degree in Hapkido, a 2nd degree in Aikido, a 2nd degree in judo and he's done a lot of kung fu (but I'm not sure of his rank). The guy would scare the shit out of me if he wasn't such a nice guy.
